The St. Ulrich, who served as the Bishop of Augsburg over a millennium ago, is the focal point of a special exhibition at the Diocesan Museum St. Afra. For this exhibition an existing touchscreen table was used for which five mini-games were designed and produced. These give visitors an exciting and unexpected insight into the bishop's work.

The games are crafted to resonate with a younger audience, covering themes like e.g. the fortification of the city (security), the origin of food supplies (nutrition), and the sins of that era (justice). Each game is introduced by a thoughtfully crafted animation clip that sets the stage for the topic. Additionally, the games are embedded in a map that illustrates Ulrich's influence not only in the city of Augsburg but also across the wider region. The visual style blends retro-inspired video game elements with authentic historical images, providing a unique perspective on Saint Ulrich's contributions. Moreover, detailed historical contexts and narratives have been integrated to ensure a comprehensive and educational experience for all visitors.

The games are based on web technologies, allowing for future adaptation to other installation contexts and devices. The large high resolution touchscreen makes the exhibit suitable for for both single and multi-user interactions.
