The »Kreativwerkstatt Oberhausen« is a community place in the basement of the kindergarten, directly on the town hall square, which is intended for a wide variety of actors from the region. The equipment was therefore individually designed over several workshops directly with representatives of the local cultural and creative industries, industry, teaching and the private sector.
In addition to space, the workshop offers a hardware infrastructure that can be used free of charge as a breeding ground for inspiration and exchange. Experimental approaches are just as desirable as applied program items.
In order to meet the resulting heterogeneous requirements, a corresponding spatial program was developed, which can be easily further developed and expanded by the future users under the motto "Do it yourself" with the available tools.
