For the opening of the »HELIO« shopping mall at the Augsburg main station we created this reactive video projection that combines the principles of the Mexican Wave, a mass phenomenon to express collective happiness, and the Guard of Honor, a social ritual to honor particular people on special occasions, to welcome the visitors during the first days.
Due to the bright environment we used high brightness laser projectors to reach the required image quality. The video loops are triggered by depth of field sensors in realtime.
